Wichita Falls is down US 287 from our base in Vernon, and it is one of the towns we work regularly. We pour driveways, sidewalks and patios for homes across the city, plus slabs and foundations for new construction and larger commercial work.

Commercial slabs, storage and shop buildings, aprons and pads are a regular part of what we do, and we can place large pours on a schedule. Because the dirt work and trucking are ours, the site is graded and the base is built by the same people who pour it.

What matters for concrete in Wichita Falls

Wichita Falls has the same expansive clay soil found across much of North Texas, and older neighborhoods show it in sidewalks that have heaved and driveways that have cracked and settled. When an old slab comes out, it pays to understand why it failed before the new one goes in, because putting fresh concrete on the same tired base gives you the same result a few years later.

The city also gets serious spring weather, with hail, high wind and heavy rain, on top of long hot summers and winter freezes. Slope matters here. A driveway or patio needs to move water away from the house and off the surface, and a commercial pad needs to drain without ponding around the building.
